National Health Care Associates is pleased to announce Michael G. Levine, M.D. as the newest addition to the medical staff at Village Crest Center for Health & Rehabilitation. Dr. Levine has extensive experience in Cardiac Electrical System Procedures and is affiliated with several medical facilities such as Danbury Hospital and Sharon Hospital.

A proven leader in his field, he has over 30 years of various healthcare experiences, specializing in both cardiology and internal medicine. Dana Christos, Regional Director of Business Development & Marketing noted, “Village Crest Center for Health & Rehabilitation welcomes Dr. Levine to the Medical Staff. We are excited to have a Cardiologist to provide the highest level of care for our cardiac patients. He is local and available to us when we need his expert advice.”

As Village Crest’s Cardiology Specialist, Dr. Levine will offer care for conditions affecting the heart & cardiovascular system, such as abnormal heart rhythms, high blood pressure, and in severe cases, cardiac arrest and stroke. Dr. Levine will play a central role in quality care, education, and treatment of our residents.

He received his MD from the New York University School of Medicine, before assuming his PA Residency at Thomas Jefferson University and Fellowship at The University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Levine is currently a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a former chairman of the Department of Medicine at New Milford Hospital.

Dr. Levine is a huge Harry Potter and Star Trek fan.  He also has grown awarding winning tomatoes and peppers for the Bridgewater fair.
