New Milford, CT—Members of the Village Crest Center for Health & Rehabilitation staff joined Mayor Pete Bass and members of the New Milford community on the morning of November 1, for a tree dedication ceremony at the New Milford Green. Three weeks ago, the center planted a tree through the Town of New Milford Parks & Recreation Department’s memorial donation program to commemorate the strength of the community in which it serves.
“Today we dedicate this tree to symbolize Village Crest’s ties to our New Milford Community, said Ann Callahan, Administrator, Village Crest Center for Health & Rehabilitation. “Village Crest is proud to serve our residents, families and area medical practices and hospitals along with so many other important community service providers. There is a spirit of caring in New Milford, which makes our town a very special place.”
The team at Village Crest takes great pride in caring for its local residents and its involvement within the community it serves. “We hope that this tree will serve as a reminder that as it grows taller and stronger, that we too, at Village Crest, also grow stronger and taller by helping our neighbors in need,” continued Callahan. “As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, may we always be mindful of the needs of those less fortunate and grateful for our roots in this amazing community! May we always be New Milford Strong!”
Community members can visit the tree at the New Milford Green. To learn more about Village Crest’s offerings and services, visit www.villagecrestrehab.com.
